CAIRO, Nov 25 (Reuters) Egypt's public prosecutor charged five journalists today with breaking a ban on reporting details of the sensational murder trial of a prominent businessman and ruling party member, judicial sources said.
CAIRO, Nov 25, 2008 (AFP) - Five Egyptian journalists have been charged with breaching a gag order in the trial of a tycoon accused of ordering the murder of a Lebanese singer, state news agency MENA reported on Tuesday.
A combo of two recent file pictures shows Lebanese pop singer Suzanne Tamim (R) and Egyptian tycoon Hisham Talaat Mustafa, who was arrested and charged on September 2, 2008 with paying for the murder of Tamim in Dubai in July 2008. Five Egyptian journalists have been charged with breaching a gag order in the trial of a tycoon accused of ordering the murder of a Lebanese singer.
