Riverside council to hear case for blocking off Dufferin Avenue

The Riverside City Council on Tuesday will consider controversial plans to close part of a street used by hundreds of residents who live just south of the city limits. The city wants to block off Dufferin Avenue at Stewart Street to protect a greenbelt area. Some residents who live nearby say the street is unsafe anyway.
