Planners object to fence and stone wall rules

The Stark County Board of Health granted Robert Fisher, owner of Hidden Valley Lake Campground in Paris Township, a variance Wednesday that allowed him not to staff his beach with a lifeguard. Instead, Fisher must erect safety signs, sign an agreement that waives the health district of liability and train someone to use pool safety equipment and learn CPR.
