FERNLEY--After viewing a news story about the Fernley Fourth of July Committee naming Arthur York (also known as Arthur Yankey) as the 40th Annual Fourth of July Parade grand marshal, and who presumably was a Navy Cross Medal recipient, Thomas Richards, past national commander of the Legion of Valor, checked his records and did not find York's name listed for such an award.
