So, the pendulum is swinging back to the squeals of teen girls. Waiting an hour for the "Twilight" movie premiere swung me back to 1985 — sort of back to the future fashion.
Friends, family and trekkies gathered to bid a final farewell to "Star Trek" actress Majel Barrett Roddenberry on Sunday. More than 250 people were at Forest Lawn Cemetery for the funeral of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry's widow. She died December 18 at her Bel-Air home at age 76.
The funeral for the "voice for the Starship Enterprise" drew more than 250 family, friends, and trekkies from across the "Star Trek" universe to Los Angeles on Sunday. Majel Barrett-Roddenberry died two weeks ago.
"Star Trek" cast members, relatives, friends and fans attended a memorial service today for Majel Barrett Roddenberry. Roddenberry died of leukemia at age 76 at her home in Bel Air last month.
