Brothers arrested after fight at holiday party

Two brothers have been cited and arrested for their suspected involvement in a holiday party that got out of control last month. On Dec. 20, Chauncey Marshall, 24, 4918 Madison Ave., No. 1, was cited and released on suspicion of third-degree assault, said Lincoln Police Officer Katie Flood.

Rainier council raises marina fee

Rainier City Council on Monday raised monthly moorage fees at the city’s marina by 3 percent. The city annually raises the fees by an amount equal to the Portland Consumer Price Index, not to exceed 3 percent. This year’s Portland CPI is 3.9 percent.
