DeCaster Named Player of the Month

FARGO, N.D. -- Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks third baseman Yurendell DeCaster has been named Rawlings Northern League Player of the Month for June. DeCaster, who had his Northern League contract purchased by the New York Yankees earlier this week, batted .354 (34-for-96) with 12 doubles, 10 home runs, 30 RBI, and 25 runs scored in the month.
