I cannot get excited about the hoopla surrounding the death of Michael Jackson. I couldn’t help but see the live coverage of the gate at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles, where television reporters waited breathlessly for the vehicles supposedly carrying his family members were due to arrive, then leave. It was also on every Canadian news channel Tuesday morning.
