CLAYTON, N.C. — Mary Elizabeth Ponte, 76, of Clayton, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. Mary was born on Oct. 10, 1932, in Oneida City Hospital, the daughter of Josephine M. (Meli) Armstrong and married Anthony Ponte on Dec. 2, 1961.
