Doctors’ offices and clinics in New York that use new blood-testing technology to check children and pregnant women for lead poisoning will be eligible for reimbursement through the state’s Medicaid program beginning Sept. 1.
For women facing an unplanned or unexpected pregnancy who plan to carry the baby to term and either keep it or give it up for adoption, there is a new nonprofit resource in Greencastle. PMI Pregnancy Resource Center moved to its new location at 501 S. Cedar Lane in March.
