Gasoline prices that rose above $4 a gallon during the summer seem like a bad dream now that the holidays are near and drivers can expect the lowest gas prices for Thanksgiving travel since 2004. Even so, sharp declines in fuel prices over the past couple of months are not expected to make the roads more crowded. A lagging economy is giving drivers plenty of reasons to cut back on travel.
