Oak Park resident Bill Cassin, a World War II veteran and one of the first American soldiers to liberate prisoners from the Nazi concentration camp at Dachau, died June 30. He was 86 years old. "The war was a very identifying thing for Bill," said his wife, Virginia Cassin.
