One Midland family’s light display is generating some big attention and its pretty high tech. But, this particular light display is different from others around time. They are collecting canned foods and toys for the Midland Soup Kitchen.
INWOOD - Betty Anne Shepherd still can't believe she will be watching her granddaughter help light the National Tree alongside President Bush on Thursday evening. "I am simply bubbling over with excitement!" said Shepherd, who lives in Inwood with her husband, Bill. Their granddaughter, Kayleigh Anne Kepler, is a sixth-grader at MacArthur Middle School in Fort Meade, Md.
