Scots arrested at Caribbean airport over drug trafficking

A Scots couple have been arrested in the Dominican Republic on suspicion of drug trafficking, the Foreign Office said last night. Kelly Carrigan and Daniel Patterson, who are understood to come from Glasgow, were reportedly detained at Punta Cana airport as they were about to return home.
