CNOOC makes light crude discovery in Bohai Bay

BEIJING, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Chinese oil explorer CNOOC Ltd <0883.HK> has made a sizeable light crude oil and gas discovery at its Jinzhou 25-1 field in Bohai Bay, off China's northeastern coast, a government website said on Wednesday.

'Whisky Galore' bottle under hammer

A bottle of whisky recovered from the wreck of a cargo ship which inspired the film Whisky Galore! could fetch more than £1,500. It was one of around 240,000 bottles of whisky which went down with the SS Politician after it ran aground off Eriskay in the Outer Hebrides in 1941.
