Body of missing UC Davis professor washes ashore

A missing UC Davis professor has been found dead in Sonoma County, an apparent suicide victim, police said. The body of Richard L. Walker Jr., a veterinary professor, was recovered late Monday after it washed ashore at Salmon Creek State Beach in Bodega Bay, Davis Police Sgt. Scott Smith said in a news release. Davis man killed in single-car accident on Interstate 80

A 53-year-old Davis man was killed in a solo-car accident Monday night, the California Highway Patrol said. The Solano County Coroner's Office on Tuesday identified the man as Bruce Wenokur.
