HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. (AP) - The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission will investigate allegations of racial discrimination against a Philadelphia-area swim club accused of kicking out a day camp attended by black and Hispanic children.
Sportscene Group Q3 profit drops 20 per cent; sales at $20.6 million

The company said Thursday the profit amounted to 29 cents a share compared with a prior year period's $1.5 million or 36 cents a share. Quarterly revenue fell to $20.6 million from $21.1 million.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of U.S. workers filing new claims for jobless benefits fell to the lowest level since January, but the seasonally adjusted data was distorted by an unusual pattern of layoffs in the automotive industry.
