SOFIA, Bulgaria, July 10 (UPI) -- Bulgaria found 42 illegal migrants in a truck transporting peppers as it attempted to cross to Romania at a northern Bulgarian checkpoint, officials said.

July 10 (Bloomberg) -- The International Monetary Fund is forecasting a deeper economic contraction in Bulgaria than it previously predicted. The IMF now expects Bulgaria’s economy to shrink 7 percent in 2009 after forecasting a 3.5 percent contraction on April 12.
