Curry leaves feisty legacy

This time, apparently, it’s for real. George Curry announced his retirement as Wyoming Valley West’s football coach Wednesday, with little of the hoopla that accompanied his resignation from Berwick after the 2005 season, when the winningest high school coach in state history left a post he had occupied for 35 seasons and a program which he built into, arguably, the best in the state.
