Pedestrian seriously injured by elderly driver

State Police are looking into an incident in Revere where a pedestrian was struck and injured by a car driven by an 85-year old man. Police say Michele Veneziano of Lynn side-swiped a car with his minivan on Thursday.  They say he got out briefly, but then hopped back in and drove away. Police say he also hit a man who was crossing Revere Beach Boulevard.

WMBD/WYZZ – PEORIA -- A Life-Flight helicopter responded to a car accident around 3:00 a.m. Friday. Peoria police dispatchers say a pedestrian was hit on Route 29 and Old Galena road. The victim was taken to OSF St. Francis Medical Center. There's no word yet on the extent of their injuries.
