In an ordinary season, John Holbrook would have all his tomato plants in the ground at Holbrook Farm in Bethel. This year, he started moving them to the field in mid-June. It was too cold and rainy to expose them to the elements before then. "It just kept up,'' he said of the seemingly endless string of rainy days we've had through June and now, into July.
