BOZEMAN - Five people employed at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman have received layoff notices. Two others with professional appointments scheduled to end in June got word they may have to leave in January, instead.
The Virginia Museum of Natural History has named retired curator Lauck “Buck” Ward as its first curator emeritus. Ward served as curator of invertebrate paleontology at the museum for 19 years before he recently retired.
