Martin County welcomes use of turnpike's fiber optic cables

The Florida Turnpike Authority has been using fiber optic cables since early in this decade and now offers up some of its unused lines to neighboring counties. The exchange is done at no cost to taxpayers, said Kevin Kryzda, the county's chief information officer for technology services.
