Hayley Pelletier runs around her living room in Elmwood Park like any other girl her age. She runs to her room and returns with a device that resembles a typewriter. "You push the keys, then the space bar," she explains. "You can feel the dots. I understand Braille but I don't understand print." Her mother hopes to change that by taking Hayley to China for a stem cell transplant.
