LACROSSE. The Bedford Cannons U15-C boys lacrosse team knocked off Londonderry, 9-2. Pat Simpson and Aaron Palys each had three goals while Matt Myers, Todd Glynn and Owen Dugan also scored a goal each. The Cannons followed that up with a 13-4 win over Concord to improve to 3-0.
SOFTBALL U12. The Bedford Hurricanes defeated the Milford Cyclones, 15-11. Victoria Standard had a triple on offense and Mackenzie Fraitzel and Lauren Farrell pitched well in the victory.
BASEBALL. The Bedford High baseball team picked up a 7-4 win over Con-Val on Friday in Class I action. Kevin White scattered three hits and allowed three unearned runs in five innings. Nate Harrington scored two runs and had three hits and a walk, including a two-run triple.
TENNIS. The Bedford High girls tennis team saw its season come to an end on Wednesday. The Bulldogs, seeded eighth in the Class I tournament, fell in the quarterfinals to top-seeded Hanover, 7-2. Bedford finished the season with a record of 11-4.
Bedford Storm 22, Hollis Bluebirds 17: The Bedford Storm took an early lead in this contest with a strong offensive showing by Kiley Graham, Ashley Allard, Olivia Hammond, Sara Ferranti and Micaela Healy who had an impressive hit to left field.
DENVILLE TWP. - The Denville Police Athletic League (PAL) will sponsor a Fun Run on Saturday, July 11, at Gardner Field.
