Binocular was cut to 9-2 from 5-1 for the Champion Hurdle by Sky Bet after cruising to victory in the Betfair Hurdle at Haydock. Champion jockey AP McCoy steered the 1-9 favourite around effortlessly and eventually posted a three and a quarter length success without coming off the bridle.
