DEERFIELD, Ill., Feb.
Paxil, an antidepressant commonly prescribed to women with breast cancer, can reduce or even abolish the effects of the breast-cancer drug tamoxifen, increasing a woman's risk of death.
Paxil, a commonly-prescribed antidepressant, may interfere with the breast cancer drug tamoxifen, Canadian researchers have found. The interaction appears to increase the risk the cancer could return, the study found.
