Marvin Ramstad, the father of former U.S. Rep. Jim Ramstad and Minnesota Tax Judge Sheryl Ramstad, died Wednesday, July 1, of respiratory failure at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. He was 89.

Seifert tour comes to New Ulm

ST. PAUL - Representative Marty Seifert (R-Marshall) will make New Ulm the final stop on on statewide, 14-city to to announce his candidacy for governor. Siefert's day will start at City Hall in Marshall at 9 a.m. The tour will then proceed to Worthington for an 11 a.m. press conference at City Hall. The tour wraps up in New Ulm at 2 p.m. at City Hall.
