Descanso Gardens announced late last week that, pending final approvals from Los Angeles County, it will break ground this June for an environmentally-friendly art gallery designed to allow local, national and internationally recognized artists to exhibit their work in Descanso’s unique natural setting.
An exhibition featuring art by local high school students will be on display at the Ashland Public Library through the end of next month. This third annual student show, which includes works in a variety of media, is on display in the library’s downstairs picture gallery and in the upstairs display case.
