Man/animal rock crowds at 64th annual Stampede

More than 450 cowboys and cowgirls battled for nearly $45,000 in prize money at the 64th annual Sitting Bull Stampede on July 2, 3 and 4. Chase Floyd of Ludlow won the biggest check of the Stampede, winning $1,786 for taking first place in steer wrestling.

GRAND BLANC, Michigan — Flint Junior Golf Association golfers from the Jack Nicklaus group played at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc on Monday, just three weeks before some of the best golfers in the world will take to the course in the Buick Open.
