Jacob Marley's turn Scrooge's partner tells his tale in a solo show that's a fine addition to the usual holiday fare

Most of us know that Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" begins with the sentence "Marley was dead, to begin with" and ends with the sentiment, "God bless us, everyone." "Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol," now onstage at Park Square Theatre, has those same bookends, but tells a refreshingly different tale in between.
