Yeadon official accused of harassment

The Delaware County District Attorney yesterday filed charges of indecent assault and harassment against a Yeadon Borough Council member. Since Jan. 7, Terry A. McGirth, 53, is alleged to have inappropriately kissed the borough's finance director, Terri Phifer Vaughn, on 13 occasions, according to the criminal complaint. The charges are misdemeanors.
