QUESTION: I get very concerned about the direction our country is going. We seem to have wandered a long way from the vision our forefathers had for our nation, and their strong belief in God. How can we get this back? Or is it too late?
I have always considered myself to be a tolerant person, but I have to admit to being absolutely appalled and disgusted by the recent column "In the pursuit of happiness, don't run into the highway" and its linking of homosexuality...
I received a card in the mail recently that had a picture of the Israelites about to enter the Red Sea. The picture shows Moses with Aaron by his side and the masses of the Israelites standing behind them. The water is about to part as they prepare to enter.
