Action: Accepted a $135,714 state grant to install 2,500 linear feet of waterlines along Grand Caillou Road on behalf of the Terrebonne Waterworks District.
Federal, local agencies to split levee-study costs

Nikki Buskey Staff Writer HOUMA - Federal and local officials have agreed to split the $10 million study cost for the Donaldsonville-to-the-Gulf hurricane-protection system, a cost $3 million greater than originally estimated by the Army Corps of Engineers.
