NEW YORK----Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Inc. , a developer of new drugs to treat gastrointestinal disorders and diseases, announced today that it has completed the final tranche of its private placement in which it raised gross proceeds of an aggregate $7,092,500 million through the sale of 10,132,143 shares of common stock at a price of $0.70 per share.
