The results from the first phase of a three-part study of brain cancer deaths among Pratt & Whitney workers since 1952 will be disclosed to workers, their families, and the public on Thursday, Sept. 18, union and company officials said Monday.
Its name is an unfamiliar mouthful and it is not one of "big cancers". But glioblastoma multiforme is the most common and aggressive primary brain tumour - and there's no cure.
