•The plant will burn 1,500–1,800 tons of garbage/day. That’s 936,000,000–1,123,200,000 pounds of garbage every year! •97 percent will not come from Elbert County but will be trucked in from as far away a 90 miles (Metro Atlanta, Augusta, Athens, Greenville, etc.). Their trash will be our problem!
