Wright County board reverses stance of parks horseback riding

Two months ago, the Wright County Board of Commissioners voted to close down the North and South Units of Stanley Eddy Park to horseback riding, effective Nov. 15 with a goal of opening trails in a different portion of the park by the fall of 2011. Two months later, after the public had spoken, the board reversed its position.

The lodge, which has its headquarters on Dutch Lane Road, will host a holiday brunch for underprivileged children on Dec. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
