Regulators say Fablyn effectively treats osteoporosis but increases women's risk of blood clots and death.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is often used on a short-term basis for the relief of unpleasant menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and irritability.
Women with depression may be much more likely than men to get relief from a commonly used, inexpensive antidepressant drug, a new national study finds. But many members of both sexes may find that it helps ease their depression symptoms.
