Hunting season for deer is underway, making them a familiar part of our landscape and potential hazards for drivers. "This coupled with the fact that they are seeking food and escape from hunters, translates into potentially dangerous driving situations. The catch phrase 'deer in the headlights' is never more likely to be a reality than at this time," said Sheriff Tubbs.
