White spruce trees cut as part of experiment in ecological restoration

BEN EOIN — Nova Scotia’s Natural Resources Department is cutting down hundreds of white spruce trees at Ben Eoin Provincial Park this week, in what parks ecologist Art Lynds refers to as an experiment in ecological restoration.
