Mayor favors Wal-Mart liquor license

Mayor Mick Wisslead said this week that a liquor license for the Wal-Mart Supercenter might significantly increase the city’s sales tax income.  "I think the Wal-Mart market is wider than Macomb," he said Monday, "and the city would get a portion of the money spent by people from other communities."
