The National Center for Assisted Living and the Iowa Center for Assisted Living applaud Representatives Leonard Boswell (D) and Bruce Braley (D) for becoming cosponsors of the Medicare Part D Home and Community Services Copayment Equity Act of 2009 (HR 1407), a bill that would eliminate Medicare Part D drug copayments for low-income seniors in assisted living and residential care settings.
