Amyris subsidiary to produce renewable chemicals, fuels - Brazil

Amyris Brasil, a wholly subsidiary of US-based Amyris Biotechnologies, has opened in São Paulo state's Campinas a products demonstration facility designed to produce a range of renewable fuels and chemicals from sugarcane by using synthetic biology technology.
