After the Lee’s Summit City Council meeting on Thursday it may no longer be legal to urinate in public in Lee’s Summit. Currently, the city’s code of ordinances does not prohibit public urination or defecation. But the Lee’s Summit Police Department and the city are trying to get that changed.
It has recently been reported that unwarranted and obscene salary increases were “given” to senior bureaucrats of the province. Included was a $105,000 annual increase to the deputy premier, bringing her base salary up to $348,600 per annum.

AN acute shortage of boats is hampering efforts to relieve about 3 million people affected by a torrent of water that has devastated the impoverished state of Bihar in north India.
Severe floods have destroyed almost a quarter of a million homes affecting at least 1.4 million people in northern part of the state of Bihar in India. More than 70,000 people have been displaced in Nepal. Children are the most vulnerable to disease and the distress of displacement, says UNICEF.
