APEC leaders back free trade

LIMA, Peru (VIA PLDT) — Leaders of the 21-member nations of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) agreed to adopt a one-year moratorium on raising new barriers that would restrict the free flow of investments and trade in the region in a statement they issued at the end of their first day of discussions here.
