One of Montana's major cell phone carriers is about to get even bigger. Verizon annmounced today the 5.0 billion dollar buyout of Alltel is final. It makes Verizon the nation's largest mobile phone company with nearly 84 million customers.
Yesterday we told you several phone and internet lines were down because of a cut fiber optic line. The line is owned by Bonneville Power Administration. The cut line is directly affecting several Centurytel, Alltel, Verizon and Bresnan Customers.
