La Crosse County Circuit Court: Accused Joshua McEvilla, 18, of 803 Clinton St., was charged Monday with being party to the crime of substantial battery and criminal damage to property. McEvilla is accused of hitting a man several times in the head with a cell phone after the man caught McEvilla breaking into his wife’s van Sunday, the complaint stated.
