Saturday night’s performance was Championship night at the Germantown Charity Horse Show, culminating the week’s combination fun and seriously competitive classes. Christian Heineking on River of Dreams was the big winner of the $25,000 Grand Prix of Germantown.

Fairfield police are looking for a suspect believed to be involved in a non-injury shooting Thursday night.The incident took place around 11:40 p.m. when officers responded to the 1000 block of Sparrow Lane for a report of a shooting in a residence.Officers said that the suspect knocked on the front door of the residence and asked that one of the male occupants exit the house.
