Bolivar R-1 School District ended the fiscal year with 3.4-percent of the yearly balance in reserve, just above the state’s financial stress line of 3-percent and plans to end the 2009-10 school year with a reserve fund balance of between 5 and 6 percent, according to the 2009-10 preliminary budget approved by the board during its monthly meeting June 30.
